Kipcon, Inc., an engineering design firm catering primarily to multi-unit residential associations and commercial property owners, has promoted Mark Yanchuk to the title of vice president, engineering & architecture. Yanchuk is a registered architect and engineer with experience in project planning, design and execution of major capital construction programs for residential communities, commercial office space, research facilities, manufacturing and distribution centers.
Kipcon provides engineering design services to community associations, developers, commercial property owners, insurance companies and lending institutions through industry-leading innovation and concepts. In his heightened role, Yanchuk will oversee a team of design professionals providing multi-unit residential properties with a range of engineering and architectural services, including structural investigations; engineering specifications for remediation; 3-D design renderings; and home warranty insurance investigations.
Before joining Kipcon, Yanchuk was the owner of Design Smart Consulting Group LLC. Prior to that, he served various ascending titles - from manager of engineering & design to, eventually, principal architect - during his nearly 30-year career at Johnson & Johnson.
Yanchuk also is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional by the U.S. Green Building Council, and high on his list of accomplishments is his involvement with New Jersey's first LEED-EB O&M Certified Gold Project.
"Mark's talent and dedication have earned praise from clients as well as the respect and admiration of his colleagues," said Mitchell Frumkin, PE, RS, CGP, president of Kipcon, Inc. "In addition, his stature as a dual-licensed engineer and architect make him a versatile problem solver who finds innovative solutions to design challenges."
Yanchuk is a graduate of New Jersey Institute of Technology. He resides in Holmdel, N.J. with his wife, Debbie.
