Windo-Therm now offers Energy Star AEP Window Insulating Kits

Windo-Therm the manufacturer of patented Advanced Energy Panels (AEP's), now offers building owners do-it-yourself kits for insulating their existing windows. AEPs are a double-glazed lightweight panel and an alternative to costly replacement windows. They impact heating and cooling and bring the energy efficiency of even old single glazed windows to an Energy Star level. "The ultimate alternative to replacing windows is now available in kit form" said Jim Devine, president of Windo-Therm. "Our energy panel kits are an affordable way for all building owners to achieve Energy Star levels of efficiency without having to replace their windows." Compared to a replacement window with a 50-year payback in saved energy the fuel savings realized with AEPs can range anywhere from 20% to 50%, paying for the panels in well under five years.
