Williamson of JRS Architect earns NYS architecture license

Nicholas Williamson, working at JRS Architect, P.C. since 2005, has earned his New York architecture license, giving the firm another certified professional to support clients. "Having passed all state licensing requirements, the junior project manager was promoted to architect," said John Sorrenti, FAIA, JRS' president. Williamson will manage projects for JRS clients Cablevision Systems Corp. and Polimeni International, among others. During the past six years, he has supported interior alterations at law firms and corporate offices, as well as ground-up work for several bank branches. He previously earned his LEED Accredited Professional Certification from the Green Building Certification Institute in 2009 and a B.S. in Architecture from the New York Institute of Technology in 2003. Before joining JRS, Williamson worked for a construction company, giving him insight into the construction implications associated with architectural design and building projects.
