Williams joins Racanelli Construction as an assistant estimator

According to Racanelli Construction Company, Inc., a leading construction management, general contractor and design/build resource for commercial, industrial, retail, medical, pre-engineered and multi-unit residential projects, Francois Williams has joined the company as an assistant estimator. Directly prior to joining Racanelli, Williams served in two concurrent roles: as vice president of operations for F.J.W.Inc. and chief executive officer of Worldwide Caulking Inc. In these positions, he managed many large projects including those for the New York Police Academy in Flushing and the Delta Airlines Terminal at JFK International Airport. His responsibilities included: overseeing and authorizing all operational procedures, approving major estimates, conferring with professional staff to resolve any problems, and serving as a client liaison. In addition to his positions at F.J.W. and Worldwide Caulking, Williams served as a construction laborer and foreman, Local 741 with Weddle Brother Construction (Bloomington, IN). Among the noteworthy projects on which he served was that of Bloomington Hospital where the projects included an Obstetrics/Outpatient Surgery Addition and Renovation, the Wegmiller Auditorium, a Cancer Center and the Bloomington Convalescent Center. Other clients served ranged from Eli Lilly and Company and General Motors Corp. to the Herald-Times and Indiana University Williams served as a weapons officer with the U.S. Coast Guard. His higher education includes studies at studies at Nassau Community College, and his military education which encompassed courses in Weapons Engineering, Sexual Harassment Prevention and Counter Drug Law Enforcement. He has also successfully completed the National Safety Council Adult CPR course and OSHA Training.
