Waypoint Residential acquires 164-unit apartment community Cypress Club
Waypoint Residential, a leading apartment investment firm, has acquired Cypress Club at Woodmont (Cypress Club) on University Drive in the suburban Fort Lauderdale market of Tamarac. Constructed in 1989, the 164-unit apartment community is currently 95% leased. The purchase price was not disclosed.
Cypress Club is located about six miles west of Interstate-95. The apartment complex boasts easy access to the major employment hubs within Broward County, including the Cypress Creek office market and the Fort Lauderdale CBD. Numerous neighborhood amenities such as malls, hospitals and public parks also are located near Cypress Club.
