Walsh of Soundview Realty Group leases 1,000 s/f office space

Mark Walsh of Soundview Property Management, the property management arm of Soundview Realty Group (Medford, N.Y.) and sales associate for Prudential CRES Commercial Real Estate, recently completed a lease transaction at 500 Portion Rd. for a 1,000 s/f office space. The landlord of the space is 500 Portion LLC and the new tenant is WTM Investments, an organization which needed new space quickly. The location, competitive price and the property's upscale presentation were cited as reasons for the lease signing. Soundview is the building owner's managing agent. Walsh lends his 14 years of experience as a commercial real estate broker to locating, evaluating, structuring and arranging financing for existing and development transactions. He specializes in all areas of commercial real estate. Walsh joined Prudential CRES in 1991 as a sales associate. When Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) were first part of commercial real estate risk management, it was the lenders driving this requirement. When a borrower wanted a loan on a property, banks would utilize a list of “Approved Consultants” to order the report on both refinances and purchases.
