Verneuille of Empire National Bank appointed to executive board of NYSSCPA

Empire National Bank's CFO Janet Verneuille has been appointed to the executive board of the Suffolk County chapter of the New York State Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA). "The Suffolk County chapter of NYSSCPA is honored to have Janet Verneuille join its executive board. Janet has served as the chairperson of the Members in Industry committee for the last year and has brought many timely topics to our membership. We look forward to working with her in the upcoming year," said chapter president Elizabeth Vuozzo, CPA. When Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) were first part of commercial real estate risk management, it was the lenders driving this requirement. When a borrower wanted a loan on a property, banks would utilize a list of “Approved Consultants” to order the report on both refinances and purchases.
