utiliVisor gets GSA Schedule

March 25, 2013 - Green Buildings
utiliVisor, a leading provider of energy plant metering and monitoring and verification systems, has been granted a Schedule from the U.S. Government Services Administration (GSA), providing pre-approval for procurement by all federal agencies as well as state and local governments. The GSA Schedules program is the premier acquisition vehicle in government, with $50 billion a year in spending or 10% of overall federal procurement spending. GSA establishes long-term, government-wide contracts with commercial companies to provide access to millions of commercial products and services at volume discount pricing.
"To be accepted into the GSA Schedules program, vendors must satisfy a host of requirements," said Tim Angerame, director of business development at utiliVisor. "The Agency conducts careful analysis of each applicant and takes proactive steps to ensure vendors are qualified to participate in the program."
utiliVisor has been granted GSA Schedules to perform a variety of Energy Consulting Services. These include metering services for utility power plants at government buildings; energy program support, including central plant analytics for chilled water, boiler and cogeneration facilities; and energy program planning and evaluation, including alternative financing for energy projects, consulting on greenhouse gas emission reporting/reduction, and sustainability certification.
"utiliVisor has a significant track record working with commercial and institutional clients to create energy efficient facilities, substantially lowering their energy costs," Angerame said. "We are looking forward to taking this skill set and applying it to government facilities of all types."
