UPworld.com and RE Speed Network hold a networking event 3/5

RE Speed Network and UPworld.com will jointly hold their next commercial real estate industry networking event on Wednesday, March 5, at the Beekman Tower Hotel located at 49th St. and First Ave.. Please visit www.upworld.com. RE Speed Network co-founder Laurence Ross, an active investment sales broker at Besen & Associates said, "Today's fast-paced business environment has created a demand for targeted, efficient networking events that allow professionals to get right to the heart of the business matter." RE Speed Network co-founders Dave Kahane and Oren Klein said, "While our three-minute quick pitch approach might seem overwhelming to some, the 'throw-the-spaghetti-on-the-wall' concept is very attractive to fast-paced real estate professionals. It allows you to quickly determine whether or not there is an opportunity for further business." Ori Klein, of Locust Systems, said, "Our unique registration process ensures a diverse real estate crowd at every event." The idea to create a speed networking event was born after the founders attended numerous functions that were targeted too broadly to fulfill the specific business networking needs of the commercial real estate industry. UPworld.com is an innovative on-line networking platform, which connects thousands of real estate, finance, design, and building professionals to one another for new business opportunities, deals, and projects. Jennifer Magee, UPworld.com co-founder, said, "Our networking events complement the on-line activities of UPworld's members and allow industry professionals to interact with one another in a friendly, non-intimidating environment." Oisin Clancy, UPworld.com co-founder, also said, "UPworld members create easily edited on-line profiles and deal/project portfolios, to attract partners and prospects, and to showcase their skills and expertise. They network with each other to establish valuable business connections and form project teams."
