Tuttman of Lee NYC arranges 5,832 s/f lease at 648 Broadway
Peter Tuttman, executive managing director/principal of Lee & Associates NYC LLC, has arranged a 10-year lease for 5,832 s/f on the seventh floor of 648 Broadway, between Bleecker and Bond Sts., for Big Beach Films. The production company behind such independent favorites as Little Miss Sunshine, Sunshine Cleaning and Safety Not Guaranteed will move to the full-floor space in February 2015. Fellow tenants include business video company Sherpa Media, high-end image licensing firm Agency Folio-ID, lifestyle website YouBeauty and Christian Duvernois Landscape/Gallery.
"Leasing the entire seventh floor of the building to Big Beach Films is part of ownership's strategy of offering full floors of 648 Broadway for some of the larger companies involved in the creative arts industries," said Tuttman, who was the sole broker on the transaction.
The building's owner, Franmar Infants Wear Inc., is managed by Sierra Real Estate LLC, an affiliate of Lee NYC. Asking rent was $65 per s/f.
