Tsiolis of Long Island Industrial leases 60,000 s/f to Chesapeake Pharmaceuticals

According to Long Island Industrial, which owns and operates a mixed portfolio of commercial properties across Long Island, Chesapeake Pharmaceuticals, an international packaging company, has signed a long-term lease to occupy 60,000 s/f at 325 Duffy Ave. for their U.S. new base of operations. The site will become the company's new headquarters and corporate offices, which were formerly based in Hauppauge. Tommy Tsiolis, director of leasing for Long Island Industrial, represented Long Island Industrial while Newmark Knight Grubb Frank represented Chesapeake. With this new lease signed by Chesapeake, the 96,000 s/f industrial building at 325 Duffy remains fully leased. The multi-tenant property sits on 6.6 acres in close proximity to Hicksville Station, the Long Island Expressway, Northern State and Wantagh Parkways, providing immediate access to all transportation routes. "We are honored, but not surprised, that a global manufacturing firm such as Chesapeake has chosen Long Island Industrial's manufacturing facility as its main facility here in the United States," said Tsiolis. "We strive to provide a portfolio of fully flexible properties that are able to meet the ever-changing requirements of today's global packaging and shipping industry and this new lease with Chesapeake validates our efforts." Chesapeake is an internationally renowned leading supplies of cartons, labels, leaflets and other specialist packing as well as providing innovative packaging design, seamless and secure manufacture, and a robust supply chain partnership. The company operates more than 20 strategically located manufacturing facilities globally. In addition to its new Hicksville location, Chesapeake also has facilities in Fairfield, New Jersey; Evansville, Indiana; and in Lexington and Raleigh, North Carolina.
