Lakewood, NJ Trivium Real Estate Advisors, one of the fastest-growing multifamily investment sales brokerages in the Northeast, has appointed Emily Wood as chief operating officer. Wood will oversee operations, technology, recruiting, marketing and strategic growth initiatives as the firm continues to expand its platform.
The announcement comes as Trivium enters a new phase of growth. Since its founding in 2024, the firm has closed more than $1 billion in multifamily transactions and currently has more than $500 million under contract. To support continued expansion, Trivium recently opened a new office on Rte. 59 in Monsey, N.Y., strengthening its presence throughout the Hudson Valley and expanding coverage across Rockland, Orange, Dutchess and Westchester counties. The firm has also expanded its brokerage team to support growing activity in Newark and Essex County.
Founded by industry veterans Joseph Brecher, Eli Rosen and Joseph Gehler, who previously served as executive managing director, senior vice president, and vice president, respectively, at Gebroe-Hammer Associates, Trivium specializes in multifamily investment sales throughout New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Delaware. The firm’s principals have collectively orchestrated more than $16 billion in transaction volume across more than 600 deals and 120,000 apartment units.
Wood joins Trivium from LightBox following the company’s acquisition of Revere CRE.
During her tenure at both organizations, she worked closely with many of the country’s leading brokerage firms, helping drive technology adoption, operational efficiency and revenue growth across commercial real estate organizations nationwide.
“As Trivium continues to grow, we remain focused on building something that will endure far beyond any single transaction, market cycle, or individual,” said Brecher. “Our goal has always been to create a firm that is defined by its people, its culture, and its clients. And we also know the strongest companies are not built simply by closing deals – they are built by creating a solid foundation that can support future generations of professionals and clients. To that end, we are thrilled to welcome Emily to the firm. Her experience, perspective, and leadership will help ensure that our continued expansion only strengthens the legacy we’ve worked so hard to build.”
“The brokerage industry is changing,” said Trivium Managing Partner co-founder Joseph Gehler. “The firms that win over the next decade won’t just be great at relationships. They’ll be great at execution, recruiting, branding, technology adoption and building organizations that can scale without losing what makes them special. Emily brings a perspective that is incredibly rare in our industry.”
“Growth only creates value when it is supported by discipline, consistency, and attention to detail,” said Trivium Managing Partner co-founder Eli Rosen. “As our business has expanded, we have remained committed to building systems and processes that allow us to deliver the same level of service, market knowledge, and execution that our clients have come to expect. Emily has a unique ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions that strengthen organizations from the inside out. Her leadership will help ensure that we continue to operate with precision and purpose as we expand our platform throughout the Northeast.”
Wood’s years of experience working alongside brokerage firms of all size across the country – ranging from small boutique shops to some of the largest brands in commercial real estate – uniquely positions her to understand what actually drives growth, what creates scale, and where many firms are falling behind.
“I was attracted to Trivium because it isn’t burdened by decades of hardened bureaucracy or outdated ways of thinking that impede growth and client service,” she said. “The next generation of brokerage won’t be built on legacy, geography, or who has been around the longest. It will be built by firms that invest in talent, embrace technology, create operational excellence, and deliver a better experience for both clients and brokers. Trivium is proof of that. We’re creating a platform where top producers can accomplish more, where clients have access to better market intelligence and execution, and where ambitious professionals can build careers without the limitations that exist at many traditional firms.”
A recognized thought leader at the intersection of commercial real estate, technology and artificial intelligence, Wood is a frequent industry speaker, conference moderator and podcast host. She is the host of Closing the Deal, Opening Up and founder of Huntington Creative and LØFTEN, advisory platforms focused on helping commercial real estate and proptech companies accelerate growth. Wood was also recognized as a GlobeSt. Women of Influence award recipient for her contributions to innovation and technology within commercial real estate.
“The firms that dominate the next decade of multifamily brokerage are being built right now, and they’re doing so with intention and integrity that’s rarely seen at our level,” Wood said. “Trivium is leading the pack.”
