TOTUS Business Centers offers disaster recovery space for companies

A Melville office building owner is offering short-term leases for fully furnished office spaces in the one of Long Island's major business districts to businesses displaced by Hurricane Sandy. TOTUS Business Centers, an affiliate of T. Weiss Realty Corp., has short-term "disaster recovery space" at its facility at 105 Maxess Rd. The spaces, fully furnished and equipped for telecommunications, can accommodate from 10 to 60 employees and can be occupied within 24 hours. TOTUS also offers single offices that can accommodate smaller firms. The offices, pre-wired for telephone and Internet with fiber optics, also include use of a receptionist and call forwarding. Leases are available on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. "At this time of turmoil and disruption, we can have a business up and running within 24 hours with just one phone call," said Ted Weiss, president of TOTUS and T. Weiss. "Our power is on and with all of the fundamental components in place, a business owner can immediately begin to concentrate on conducting business."
