Toboroff appointed to United Realty Partners' board of directors

United Realty Partners appointed Leonard Toboroff to the company's board of directors. Toboroff,a member of the New York Bar and a practicing attorneys ince 1961, is currently a director of ENJEX Corp., a closed-­end mutual fund. Since April 2006, he has been a director of NOVT Corp., a former developer of advanced medical treatments for coronary and vascular disease. He has also been the director of Asset Alliance Corp., an alternative investment company, since April 2011. Prior to this, Toboroff was a founder and director of Steel Partners Acquisition Corp. from June 2007 to June 2009 and an executive director of Corinthian Capital Group LLC, a private equity firm, from October 2005 until June 2008. "We are thrilled to have Lenny as a new member of our board," said Eli Verschleiser, president of United Realty. "His vast corporate and investment experience will make him an important asset to our growing firm." Toboroff has served as vice chairman of the board of Allis-­Chalmers Energy Inc., a provider of products and services to the oil and gas industry, since May 1988 and was executive vice president from May 1989 to February 2002. He also served as director and vice chairman of Varsity Brands, Inc. (formerly Riddell Sports Inc.), a provider of goods and services to the school spirit industry, from April 1998 until it was sold in September 2003. He previously acted as chairman or vice chairman of American Bakeries Co., Ameriscribe Corp., and Saratoga Spring Water Co. Toboroff is a graduate of Syracuse University and the University of Michigan Law School. He is a member of the U.S. Supreme Court Historical Society.
