Thru the Lens: Shkury of Ariel Properties and his wife celebrate 40th birthdays and raise funds for Legal Outreach
The N.Y. real estate community turned out to help Shimon Shkury, president of Ariel Property Advisors, and his wife, Ruby Gelman, celebrate their 40th birthdays at a party in the penthouse lounge of the Atelier Condominium building. The event doubled as a fundraiser for Legal Outreach, a nonprofit organization for which Shkury serves on the advisory board.
Legal Outreach prepares urban youth from underserved communities in the city to compete at high academic levels by using intensive legal and educational programs as tools for fostering vision, developing skills, enhancing confidence, and facilitating the pursuit of higher education. Shkury was instrumental in assisting the organization in its recent move to a larger space in Long Island City, which has enabled all of the Legal Outreach programs to be housed under one roof.
