Thru the Lens: 5th Annual Friends of New York Real Estate Gift Drive

Featuring the master of ceremonies, WCBS anchor/reporter Cindy Hsu, New York real estate professionals gathered to kick off the 5th Annual Friends of New York Real Estate Gift Drive. For the second year in a row, the event has benefitted The New York Foundling. The Foundling is one of the city's largest and oldest child welfare organizations. Friends of New York Real Estate conducts drives in their offices to collect holiday presents and monetary donations for children in care with The Foundling. Hsu spoke at the event, which featured cocktails sponsored by Rums of Puerto Rico and a video presentation by Run-DMC's Darryl McDaniels. "Because of this gift drive, we can ensure hundreds of children feel special and cared for this holiday season," said Bill Baccaglini, The Foundling's executive director. "Many of our families are stretched to the limit and holiday gifts cannot take precedence over paying the rent. Thanks to the generosity and support of all of our friends in the New York real estate community, these children will experience the joy they deserve this holiday season." A variety of real estate companies sponsored the event including Lex Terrae LTD, a member of Old Republic National Title, Knoll and Arent Fox LLP. éa Rivera, Sham Kumar, Bill Baccaglini, and sergeant Brian Gomez.
