Thornton Tomasetti promotes Honig to principal

The Thornton Tomasetti board of directors and managing principals revealed the promotion of Robert Honig to principal of the international engineering firm.Honig joined Thornton Tomasetti in 2012 as its general counsel. He has more than 20 years of legal experience, including 15 years of experience in architecture, engineering and construction law. Honig oversees the day-to-day activities of Thornton Tomasetti's in-house legal team and manages a range of legal issues such as contract negotiation, litigation support, risk management, transactional-related activities and ethics. Honig has a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the bar in New York.
