The Moinian Group’s 535 Fifth Ave. reaches 90% occupancy

Manhattan, NY The Moinian Group said that its 535 Fifth Ave. office and retail property in Midtown has now reached 90% leased, with tenant Altice USA taking the entire 23rd floor.

Cablevision Lightpath leased the 4,850 s/f prebuilt space at 535 Fifth Ave., with plans to occupy its new offices in Q3 2023.

“As we close in on being 100% leased at 535 Fifth Ave. the market continues to tell us that spaces providing high-end turnkey opportunities in prime locations are still very much in demand,” said Omar Sozkesen, vice president, commercial leasing for The Moinian Group, which is celebrating its 40th year in operation.

Mitchell Arkin and Garett Varricchio, of Cushman & Wakefield, and James Cassidy, of DHC Real Estate Services, represented ownership in the transaction. Lou D’Avanzo and Lexie Perticone, of Cushman & Wakefield, represented the tenant.

Earlier this year, Forest Hills Financial Group, a subsidiary of The Guardian Life Insurance Co. of America, leased the entire 7,175 s/f 13th floor at 535 Fifth Ave.
