The N.J. office of FirstService Williams has Michael Tesser as senior managing director. Tesser will play a role in the office leasing division. This strategic hire is also part of the firm's expansion plans. "After competing with him for years, we're thrilled to have Michael on our team," said Jeff Schotz, executive managing officer of FirstService Williams New Jersey. "He is one of the region's most consummate dealmakers and his skills will dovetail nicely with our existing team of sales professionals." Tesser most recently served as a managing director of Newmark Knight Frank's New Jersey office where he represented several large tenants, including Reed Elsevier, Sungard and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, as well as many others, on national leasing assignments. He has also represented many of the region's largest landlords, including The Andalex Group, Princeton Equities LLC, Ivy Equities, and American Financial Realty Trust. Before joining Newmark Knight Frank, Michael was the assistant VP of leasing at Manhattan-based real estate investment firm, RFR Realty LLC, where he served as the leasing agent of 608 Fifth Ave. and 1328 Broadway in Manhattan. A graduate of the University of Delaware, Michael is a Certified Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM) Candidate.
