Tanzi promoted to studio director of emergency services and municipalities at H2M

Melville, NY H2M architects + engineers has promoted Danny Tanzi, assistant vice president, R.A., P.E., LEED AP to studio director of emergency services and municipalities in the architecture department. In his new role, Tanzi will be leading the emergency services market, public libraries, state agencies, municipalities and overseeing the department staff, making sure high quality work is consistently produced. “Danny has been performing at a very high level for many years, and he has been well prepared to take on this important role and the additional responsibility that comes along with it,” H2M’s director of architecture Joe Mottola said. “I look forward to working with Danny in this new role and for his continued success!” “As architects and engineers, I believe we have an important social responsibility to produce high quality, sustainable environments for our clients and the communities we serve,” said Tanzi. “I want to continue to do work that positively impacts communities and sets a precedent for the future.” Tanzi joined H2M in 1998 and was most recently a Senior Architect in the firm. In his role of senior architect, Tanzi was responsible for administering all phases of architectural and planning projects from preliminary and pre-bond phases through construction administration. A graduate of NYIT and Polytechnic University, Mr. Tanzi holds a B.S. in Architectural Technology and an M.S. in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Structural Engineering. He currently resides in Sayville with his wife, Donna and their three sons, Max, Theo and Nate.
