T. Weiss promotes Weiss to managing director

Craig Weiss has been promoted to managing director at T. Weiss Realty Corp. With the promotion, Weiss, who joined his family's company in 2007, takes on joint responsibility with his father, Ted Weiss, for operational oversight of T. Weiss, TOTUS Business Centers and BBRC, the general contracting arm of T. Weiss Realty. "Craig's promotion is directly linked to his outstanding year in 2010, in which he was responsible for the leasing of more than 110,000 square feet of office space during one of the most economically challenging times in recent memory, along with overseeing the reengineering and streamlining of the operational efficiencies within the company," said Ted Weiss, founder and chief executive of T. Weiss Realty Corp. Among his many transactions, Craig Weiss figured prominently in the deal that brought TD Bank's regional suburban headquarters to 42,000 square feet at T. Weiss' new Class-A office building, Melville Corporate Center III, at 324 S. Service Rd. He recently also represented T. Weiss in leasing 5,443 square feet in the same building to Jones Lang LaSalle, filling the remaining vacancy on the building's second floor. A cum laude graduate of the University of Richmond, Weiss holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration with a concentration in finance. Craig Weiss previously worked as a trader at the hedge fund Scout Capital Management in equity client service at Morgan Stanley. About T. Weiss Realty Corp.
