The Harris RF Communications newly renovated facility is used to make the world's most advanced tactical handheld communication devices, many of which are used by the U.S. military. The IES Rochester Chapter annually recognizes excellence in design for local lighting projects. Awards are bestowed in three categories: "The Harley Hill Excellence in Lighting Award for Exterior Lighting," "The Harley Hill Excellence in Lighting Award for Interior Lighting" and "The Energetix Excellence in Green Lighting Award."
