Farmingville, NY The Suffolk County Council and Boy Scouts of America have cut the ribbon of their new Council Office and Scout Shop.
Town of Brookhaven supervisor Edward Romaine along with councilman Neil Foley welcomed the Scouts to One Independence Hill. They both shared their appreciation of scouting. Suffolk County sheriff Errol Toulon, Jr. expressed his appreciation for the Scouts and is eager to expand the Scouts and the Sheriff’s Office partnership.
David Hunt, Council president, shared his excitement with the guests about the new Council Office and several upcoming events such as the Youth Leadership Conference.
