Ted Stratigos, Avison Young

Melville, NY According to Ted Stratigos, principal and managing director of the Long Island office for Avison Young, the firm arranged a 15-year, 40,000 s/f lease at 576 Broad Hollow Rd. for Professional Physical Therapy. The company will occupy the entire first floor of the building as well as an additional partial space on the second floor.

Avison Young principals Stratigos and Michael Leff represented Professional Physical Therapy and the landlord in the deal.

This transaction represents both a relocation and expansion for Professional, as the space will serve as the company’s new headquarters and consolidates other operations the company had in the Queens and Nassau, Long Island market. Principals Ted Stratigos and Michael Leff represented Professional Physical Therapy in the negotiations.

The Professional organization has undergone a rapid expansion over the last several years and the Avison Young account team, led by Leff, has helped support this growth by finding and securing spaces that meet their needs as a physical and hand therapy services provider. The Avison Young team has closed numerous leases for the company across the Tri-State-Area that now serve as regional professional clinic facilities.

“Professional tasked us with finding a functional, centralized location that would provide the amenities needed to house their new company headquarters with enough capacity to expand and accommodate additional operations that may be added at a future date. After a careful search, the location at 576 Broadhollow Road in Melville provided everything our client was looking for,” said Ted Stratigos, Avison Young.

“Avison Young has collaborated for many years with Professional on their commercial real estate needs and has a unique understanding of their space requirements. We’re pleased to have secured this new headquarters location and equally pleased to maintain our long-standing partnership,” adds Michael Leff, Avison Young. “We look forward to further assisting Professional achieve its company goals and securing new facilities that will contribute to this outstanding organization’s delivery of the highest quality of care to their patients.”
