Stacom of CBRE leads team in $266m deal between A&E Real Estate and Equity Residential

Manhattan, NY A CBRE team led by Darcy Stacom, chairman of NYC Capital Markets, arranged the $266 million sale of a 354-unit apartment tower at 140 Riverside Blvd. on the Upper West Side to NY-based apartment investor A&E Real Estate on behalf of the seller, Equity Residential.

“140 Riverside Blvd. is a stand-out in the New York market, situated both waterfront and park-front with direct access to the Hudson River Park system,” said Stacom, who partnered with team member Ryan Silber on the transaction. “The property has been meticulously maintained and is truly excellent real estate – as this transaction validates.”

The tower includes commercial space leased to the Dwight School and a veterinarian as well as amenities, including a gym, interior courtyard and multiple tenant lounges. It offers views of the Hudson River and is close to Lincoln Center, Columbus Circle, and Central Park.
