Sobel of RIPCO Real Estate signs Redefine Meals as newest tenant at New Hyde Park Place

New Hyde Park, NY New Hyde Park Place, the rebranded commercial property at 271-02 Union Tpke.on the Nassau/Queens border, has signed new tenant Redefine Meals, the Long Island-based prepared-meal company, for a new 1,000 s/f location, starting on September 1. Terms of the agreement, including the length of the lease and price per s/f, were not disclosed.

Redefine Meals will join a growing collection of food and restaurant tenants at New Hyde Park Place that includes Tous Les Jours, Soy or Spicy, Bango Bowls, Guac Shop and Buffalo Wild Wings GO.

The addition of Redefine Meals is another step in establishing New Hyde Park Place as a convenient neighborhood destination with a strong and diverse mix of food options.”

The signing comes as New Hyde Park Place continues a broader transformation of the longtime neighborhood property. The third-generation ownership has introduced a new name and identity for the complex while pursuing a new tenant strategy focused heavily on restaurants and food concepts.

Recent and ongoing improvements to the property include a new façade, new drywells and a new parking lot, with additional improvements planned as ownership continues to invest in the complex.

New Hyde Park Place is located near several of the region’s major healthcare institutions, including Cohen Children’s Medical Center, Long Island Jewish Medical Center and Ronald McDonald House Long Island.

Founded on Long Island in 2016 by Matthew Riss and Mark Ciaburri, Redefine Meals specializes in fresh, fully cooked, ready-to-eat meals designed to make healthy eating more convenient. The company has grown from its Long Island roots to more than 25 retail and pickup locations across Long Island, New York City and Westchester, while also offering home delivery.
