SJP Properties hires Welch as investment associate

Manhattan, NY SJP Properties, a privately owned, fully integrated real estate developer, investor and operator, has added Peter Welch as investment associate. At SJP Props., Welch will join a team focused on the acquisition and development of Class-A office buildings, residential properties, and mixed-use projects across the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area and select Southeast markets.

With more than 40 years of experience, SJP Props. has developed and acquired over 25 million s/f of property and completed $6.5 billion in real estate transactions.

Prior to joining SJP Props., Welch served as a senior financial analyst on the capital markets team at Cushman & Wakefield.

 where he supported the execution of real estate transactions from initial underwriting through closing. In this role, he was responsible for financial modeling, valuation, and the preparation of marketing materials including offering memoranda and broker opinions of value. He also played a key role in managing due diligence processes, coordinating investor outreach, and supporting client relationships throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Welch holds a Master of Management Studies from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a Certificate in Markets and Management from Duke University.
