Simone builds 15,000 s/f building for AHRC; Green building materials used in construction

Simone Development Companies has built a new, 15,000 s/f building for non-profit AHRC New York City, incorporating green building materials supplied by Kingston Block & Masonry Supply, LLC. The property, located at 1420 Ferris Place, is leased long term to AHRC New York City. Simone will continue to own it. The Pozzotive building block used incorporates processed post-consumer glass (beer bottles) as a supplementary cementitious material, re-using waste that would otherwise be landfilled.
