Silverstein Properties signs two new leases at 1177 Avenue of the Americas totaling 67,769 s/f

Manhattan, NY According to Silverstein Properties, two new leases have been signed at 1177 Avenue of the Americas. Faegre Drinker, a long-time tenant at 1177 Avenue of the Americas, will relocate within the building to occupy floors 41-43, totaling 42,394 s/f. The Trustees of Columbia University signed a 15,375 s/f lease on the 34th floor at the building, moving its headquarters from 405 Lexington Ave. With these long-term leases, both tenants will enjoy modernized workspaces in this class-A building in Midtown.

Bruce Mosler, Lou D’Avanzo, Ethan Silverstein, Anthony LoPresti, Peter Kerans, and Caroline Collins of Cushman & Wakefield; and Joseph Artusa, Keith Cody, Harlan Strader III and Gordon Hough of Silverstein Properties represented the landlord. Greg McCavera, Michael Berg and Sofia Bruno of JLL represented Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP. Mark Weiss and Keaton McCann of Cushman & Wakefield represented The Trustees of Columbia University.
