Silvershore Properties purchases Greenpoint building for $1.8 million
Silvershore Properties, which owns over 30 buildings in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens, has purchased 141 Meserole Ave. in Greenpoint for $1.8 million.
The 7,500 s/f, four-story, 1928 apartment building features eight apartments. It was the first sale of the building in 27 years.
"We closed within two business days of signing the contract," said Jason Silverstein, co-principal of Silvershore, along with David Shorenstein. "The seller wanted to close quickly and we did everything we could to satisfy his request."
Silvershore Properties is one of the most active buyers of investment properties in New York City, recently purchasing properties in Brooklyn Heights, Carroll Gardens, Boerum Hill, Park Slope and two buildings in Queens over the past few months.
