Sabre Real Estate Group LLC, the metropolitan region’s newest retail brokerage, has arranged a lease for Blink Fitness. Blink Fitness leased 14,443 s/f in the Baldwin Shopping Center at 1745 Grand Ave., a neighbor shopping center owned by Rosen Associates Management Corp. at the northeast corner of Grand Avenue and High School Dr. This will be the sixth Blink on Long Island. “The demographics of the Baldwin trade area are idea for Blink Fitness. We are very excited about this new location adjacent to the local high school,” said Jayson Siano, managing principal of Sabre, who along with Sabre’s Scott Sher, Stu Fagen and Russel Helbling represented the tenant. Sabre is Blink’s exclusive real estate broker on Long Island and in Northern New Jersey, where the chain is expanding rapidly. David Rosen represented Rosen Associates In-house. Blink’s site requirements include 15,000-20,000 s/f in a grocery or big-box anchored shopping center with heavy vehicular traffic, at least 125 parking spaces, high visibility and easy access. Blink’s layout is flexible with the ability to go to two levels.
