Shlaes of The Counselors of Real Estate speaks at The RED Forum

Athens, Greece Noah Shlaes, CRE, 2015 chair of The Counselors of Real Estate, the invitation-only international association of top-level real estate advisors headquartered in Chicago, represented the organization as he delivered the keynote address at the RED (Real Estate and Development) Forum on October 13. The RED Forum draws real estate executives from Greece and abroad to discuss market news and trends in real estate. Shlaes, senior managing director, Global Corporate Services at Newmark Grubb Knight Frank in Chicago, is a real estate technology expert. He spoke about the effects of technology on corporate real estate decision making – including location selection, portfolio balancing, decision timing and technology’s role in productivity and profit. Shlaes advised multinational corporations about market efficiencies and is widely published on technology topics. In his 25 years in real estate, he has advised international banks, utilities, manufacturing companies, railroads, universities and state governments.
