Shawmut hosts event to celebrate opening of LA office; Held at LAVO

Shawmut Design and Construction hosted an event at LAVO to launch their new Los Angeles office.
Top executives from partners such as Burberry, Cartier North America, Chanel, Diesel, Graff Diamonds, Gucci, Hilton Hotels, Kimpton Hotels, Le Bernardin, Louis Vuitton, The Modern, Tom Ford, and many others joined Shawmut CEO Tom Goemaat and executive vice
president & COO Les Hiscoe at the celebration.
Shawmut's retail group is active nationwide and is renowned for the construction of award-winning flagship stores, particularly along and near Manhattan's Fifth Ave. This includes the Apple Flagship; LACOSTE Flagship; Louis Vuitton Flagship; Uniqlo; Barney's; and others.
To coincide with the launch of its Los Angeles outpost, located at 5670 Wilshire Ave., Shawmut has been awarded construction of the Beverly Hills flagship locations for Louis Vuitton at 201 North Rodeo Dr.; Ermenegildo Zegna at 337 North Rodeo Dr.; and Tory Burch at 366 North Rodeo Dr. It has also been awarded construction of Del Frisco's Grille at 1551 Ocean Ave. in Santa Monica. Shawmut has built more than 75 projects around L.A. since 1995.
With offices in Boston, Manhattan, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Hartford, Connecticut and Providence Rhode Island, Shawmut Design and Construction is expected to generate in excess of $700 million in revenue in 2013 in the Academic; Commercial; Tenant Interiors; Cultural and Historic; Gaming, Healthcare and Science; Hotel; Restaurant; Retail; Spa and Health Club; and Sports Venue sectors.
