Ruskin Moscou appoints Sullivan and Didora to firm's litigation department

Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, P.C. has appointed Jonathan Sullivan and Matthew Didora as co-chairs of the firm's litigation dept. Sullivan and Didora assume the leadership of the dept. from Douglas Cooper, who chaired the litigation dept. since 2011. "As a prior managing partner and previous chair of the litigation dept., I was proud to lead a group of such talented and dedicated attorneys. I am happy to hand over the reigns of leadership to two extraordinary and qualified litigators who will maintain and enhance the preeminence of Ruskin Moscou Faltischek's litigation dept.," said Douglas Cooper. Sullivan, a resident of Lattingtown, joined the firm in 2001 and also serves as a member of the Environmental, Intellectual Property, and Employment Practice Groups. As a litigator, Mr. Sullivan has substantial experience in both trial and appellate advocacy and has represented clients in virtually all manner of commercial cases. Prior to law school, Mr. Sullivan worked for a Long Island based importer of agricultural products and traveled extensively throughout China. Mr. Sullivan has also served as an Adjunct Professor of Legal Ethics and Evidence at Molloy College in Rockville Centre and is a member of the Nassau and New York State Bar Associations. Mr. Didora, a resident of Garden City, N.Y., joined the Firm in 2007 after spending the first two years of his career at a litigation boutique in Garden City. Mr. Didora has successfully represented clients in all phases of complex commercial litigation, including jury and non-jury trials and appeals. Mr. Didora has also lectured on various topics involving litigating in New York State court and has co-authored a series of articles on corporate dissolution proceedings that appeared in the New York Law Journal. Mr. Didora is an active member of the Nassau County and New York State Bar Associations, Chaminade Alumni Long Island Businessmen's Association, and the Catholic Lawyers Guild. Mark Mulholland, Managing Partner of the Firm, congratulated Jonathan Sullivan and Matthew Didora on their new appointments as Co-Chairs and thanked Douglas Cooper for his service.
