Rubin of NAI Friedland's Industrial Division closes two leases: 10,000 s/f

NAI Friedland Realty, a full service commercial real estate firm serving the New York metropolitan area, recently closed two 10,000 s/f commercial lease deals. KLM Trading USA, a wholesaler of household products, renewed its lease for warehouse and office space at 223-235 Coster St. for more than $400,000 over five years. The lessor is Simone Development LLC. Sunshine General Contracting Corp. signed a five-year lease for second floor space with an exclusive elevator at 365 Canal Pl.for $465,000. The landlord is Canal Realty Management. Daryl Rubin of Friedland's Industrial Division was the broker for both deals. Rubin brought extensive knowledge of the Bronx real estate market to each deal. The space leased by KLM Trading USA offers the combination of high ceilings, loading docks, drive-in area, and office space that is hard to replicate in the Hunts Point area. Rubin simultaneously negotiated on several properties at the same time to enable the Canal Place deal to go through. "I tracked active leases and assisted a current tenant in finding alternate and equally desirable space to enable Sunshine General Contracting to move into 365 Canal," said Rubin. NAI Friedland Realty Inc. is located at 656 Central Park Ave. in Yonkers. NAI Friedland Realty Inc., founded in 1970, is a full service commercial real estate firm in metropolitan New York, including Westchester, the five boroughs, Long Island, Connecticut, and New Jersey. Friedland also maintains a satellite office in Manhattan. Friedland sales staff members strive to provide guidance and information that enables clients to make the best lease or purchase decisions. Brokers in Friedland's four divisions-Retail, Industrial, Office, and Residential/Development-understand their markets and are supported by a sophisticated computer database of available properties and potential tenants.
