Royal Properties brokers four leases totaling 5,765 s/f; RIPCO assists in two deals

Bronx, NY Royal Properties, Inc. have brokered the following leases:

Optimum signed a lease for 2,066 s/f at The Crossings at Southern, 925 Hunts Point Ave. The Crossings at Southern is a 42,069 s/f retail center with frontage alongside Hunts Point Ave. at the intersection of Southern Blvd. and Bruckner Blvd. Karnit Mosberg of Royal Properties, Inc. exclusively represented the landlord and Chris Walther of RIPCO represented the retailer.

Charley’s Philly Cheesesteak signed a 10-year lease for 1,498 s/f at Throggs Neck Shopping Center, 815 Hutchinson River Pkwy. Throggs Neck Shopping Center is a 300,000 s/f retail center with frontage alongside the Hutchinson River Pkwy. at the entrance to the Whitestone Bridge. This center, redeveloped in 2015, is anchored by a 165,000 s/f Target and has over 600 parking spaces.

“Both Optimum and Charley’s will increase the traffic in each of these already busy centers,” said Mosberg, exclusive leasing contact for both The Crossings at Southern and Throggs Neck Shopping Center.

Zach Landes of Royal Properties handled two leases at Fleetwood Plaza Shopping Center, 850 Bronx River Rd. in Yonkers. The UPS Store signed a long-term lease for a 1,343 s/f space next to CVS. Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard signed a long-term lease for a 858 s/f space situated between Fleetwood Laundry & Dry Cleaners and the newly signed UPS Store.

“We are thrilled to have both Rita’s and The UPS Store join and compliment the excellent mix of tenants at Fleetwood Plaza,” said Landes, who handled these deals on behalf of the landlord and Rita’s Ice. RIPCO Real Estate represented The UPS Store.

Fleetwood Plaza is a two-level shopping center located at the intersection of Bronx River Rd. and Midland Ave. in Yonkers, alongside the Bronx River Pkwy. and Cross County Pkwy. intersection. The Fleetwood Train station nearby and local bus routes serve the area. This center has a new façade, sidewalk and parking lot as well as municipal and street parking. The UPS Store and Rita’s will share the center with CVS, Dunkin’ Donuts, Sylvan Learning Center, Subway, Hair Dimensions and many more.
