Romer Debbas completes merger with Katz & Matz and opens newly expanded HQ

Romer Debbas, LLP, an award winning boutique law firm that specializes in all aspects of real estate and general practice, celebrated the success of its merger with Katz & Matz. Hosted at Waldorf Astoria, the widely attended event welcomed more than 100 guests, including members of the firm, the New York Residential Agent Continuum (NYRAC), and esteemed members of the real estate community.

Romer Debbas’s was most recently recognized among the city’s top five real estate law firms and named the most active law firm in the residential market, credited with overseeing $1.63 billion in sales, a total comprised of 490 residential and commercial transactions completed during the review period of July 15, 2021, through July 14, 2022.

The Waldorf reception coincided with the official opening of the firm’s newly expanded headquarters at 275 Madison Ave. Spanning the entire 8th floor, the approximately 15,000 s/f office was renovated.
