ROK Builders renovates Hilton Garden Inn Poughkeepsie/Fishkill; Project team includes RSJ Associates and K2M Design

ROK Builders, LLC (www.roedelcompanies.com), the hotel construction affiliate of Roedel Companies, LLC, has installed a new lobby and updated all public areas at the Hilton Garden Inn Poughkeepsie/Fishkill located at 25 Westage Rd. The company incorporated Hilton Garden Inn's "Project Grow" design standards, a company-wide initiative to update and ensure a consistent brand identity across all franchise properties. The renovations encourage guest socialization and interaction by inviting guests to relax and enjoy the Garden Pavilion throughout the day. ROK Builders transformed the hotel's lobby into an inviting and welcoming space where guests can both work and socialize during their stay. The organization built a new entranceway and created a communal breakfast area with bar tables and signature seating. Pendant lighting, cabana drapery, artwork, live interior plants, and a garden cart that showcases the hotel's food and beverage offering were added to evoke the spirit of a garden party. ROK Builders also updated flooring, public corridors and bathrooms to better serve hotel guests. Other companies partnered with the project were RSJ Associates for interior design and procurement services and K2M Design for architecture. "The renovations have truly transformed the Hilton Garden Inn Poughkeepsie/Fishkill to a place of interaction," said Fred Roedel III, president of ROK Builders and partner of Roedel Companies. "We broke down the walls of the hotel's traditional lobby to create a multipurpose space where guests can congregate and enjoy what the hotel has to offer."
