Rivera of Guardian National Funding forms The Women's Group

Sherry Rivera, a mortgage and property investment specialist, has been working in the real estate finance field for 17 years. In this time, she has encountered circumstances where women were unprepared for some of the major financial issues they had to face. This included the challenges that occur when contemplating divorce, getting divorced, raising children as a single parent, becoming a widow, remarrying and all the financial issues that need to addressed in these circumstances. Surely men have some of the same issues but currently a group is being formed for women. The group will share experiences, challenges, concerns and triumphs and learn from one another. It will be a great way to vent and be prepared when an issue arises that you have not had experience with and a means of getting info and support for current issues. There will be 2 locations so attendees can select the most convenient. April 17 at the Bristal Assisted Living, 40 Merrick Ave. East Meadow, N.Y. at 6:30 p.m. and April 29 at the Atria Huntington, 165 Beverly Rd. Huntington Station, N.Y. at 7 p.m. Please RSVP to [email protected] or call 516 594-1400.
