Ribbon cutting held for Sentinel Printing Solar Install

Village of Hempstead, NY A ribbon cutting was held recently for Sentinel Printing's first commercial solar installation. The installation will provide power for much of the building and equipment's energy needs enabling this 160 year old printing company to remain competitive and sustainable. Included in ribbon cutting are Glen Boehmer, his parents, Perry Pettus – Trustee Village of Hempstead; Evette Beckett-Tuggle - Nassau Cty Office of Economic Development; Charles DiStefano and Jason Kohl - Power 2 Profit Energy Solutions; Bob Wong - Nationall Grid; and NYSEDC member Roz Goldmacher, Long Island Development Corp.- which provided the funding for the project through the NYS/LI Targeted Loan Fund- funded by NYS and the US Dept Commerce/EDA and administered by LIDC.
