Repp named Rising Star Associate Member by LIBI

The Long Island Builders Institute (LIBI) honored Alyson Repp as its Rising Star Associate Member. Repp is an associate at the Bohemia law firm Campolo, Middleton & McCormick LLP, where she represents clients in commercial and residential real estate transactions. She received the honor at a Sept. 11th LIBI membership meeting at Villa Lombardi. A member of LIBI for the past year, Repp was recognized for her involvement in LIBI committees and activities. "She embodies the spirit of what LIBI means," said Brad Hemingway, president of the LIBI associates council. Repp is a 2007 magna cum laude graduate of East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C., where she received a bachelor of arts degree in Political Science. She received a Juris Doctor degree from the Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, Central Islip, in 2010. As law student, Repp volunteered with Servicios para el Avance de la Mujer (SEPA Mujer), a non-profit organization that works with Hispanic immigrant women, and Nassau/Suffolk Law Services. She also interned in the Suffolk County Attorney's Office. She also was involved in Touro's Veterans and Service Members' Clinic, providing legal services for veterans, service members and their spouses. Repp serves on the board of directors of the Suffolk County Women's Bar Association and, among other things, is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association and the Touro Law Center Alumni Council and Alumni Association. The Long Island Builders Institute is a non-profit trade organization serving Long Island's homebuilders, remodelers and allied trades. It is the largest homebuilding organization in New York State, representing more than 450 corporate members. Its charitable arms include Long Island Home Builders Care, Inc., and Long Island Homebuilders Care Development Corp., which through its "Building New Homes for Returning Veterans" program constructs new homes for Iraq and Afghanistan veterans.
