Manhattan, NY Rebuilding Together New York City will host its 2026 Annual Gala on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Ascent Lounge. The evening will bring together leaders from across the real estate, finance, and philanthropic communities to support the organization’s mission to repair homes, rebuild lives, and revitalize communities throughout New York City.

This year’s gala will honor three distinguished industry leaders for their outstanding professional achievements and commitment to community impact:

• Jamil Lacourt, co-founder and principal of Blue Latitude Group, has led nearly $5 billion in high-profile developments, including 425 Park Ave. and the redevelopment of Terminal Warehouse in West Chelsea.

• Katie Kurtz, CEO of Denholtz, drives the firm’s strategic growth and previously managed a $10 billion portfolio as co-chief investment officer and CFO at Silverstein Properties.

• Valerie Kitay, chief legal officer of Savanna, oversees all legal functions for the firm and is an award-winning real estate attorney, including being recognized as Global General Counsel of the Year by Lexology and the Association of Corporate Counsel in 2018.

“Each of our honorees exemplifies leadership, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to strengthening communities,” said Valerie Payne, executive director of Rebuilding Together New York City. “We are proud to celebrate their accomplishments and grateful for their support of our work, ensuring that New Yorkers in need develop careers in construction and older adults live in safe and healthy homes.”

Proceeds from the Gala will fund Rebuilding Together New York City’s year-round programs - Housing Preservation providing critical home repairs and accessibility modifications; Careers in Construction, helping individuals access the construction trades, and Community Revitalization, building and refurbishing community gardens across the city. Low-income NYC residents, homeowners, seniors, veterans, individuals with disabilities, and families all benefit from these programs.
