REBNY celebrates leaders in residential property management

Manhattan, NY At the Real Estate Board of New York’s (REBNY) 20th  Annual Residential Management Leadership Breakfast, members of the residential property management industry gathered at the New York Hilton Midtown to celebrate leaders in the field.

Adam Batista, compliance manager at Rose Associates Inc., was named Residential Management Executive of the Year. The award was presented by John McDermott of Ogden CAP Properties LLC, last year’s honoree. 

Mitchell Barry, president of Century Management Services, was honored with the Residential Management Community Service Award. The award was presented by Michael Wolfe of Midboro Management, Inc., co-chair of REBNY’s Residential Management Council (RMC).

John Catsimatidis, chairman and CEO of the Red Apple Group, delivered the keynote speech and took questions from the audience.

This event is annually hosted by REBNY’s Residential Management Council—chaired by Elly Pateras of Douglas Elliman Property Management and Michael Wolfe of Midboro Management Inc.—and the Residential Breakfast Planning Committee, which is comprised of: Ellen Gribben Bornet of Rose Associates, Inc.; Linda Gawley of Charles Greenthal Management Corp.; Russell Heigel of RoseTerra Management; and Albert Mayas of Charles Greenthal Management Corp.

“We congratulate Mitchell and Adam on their stand out achievements, and thank them for their commitment to our association and to N.Y.C.,” said John Banks, REBNY president. “Through their dedicated service, they have made strides for the residential property management industry in technological advancement and service to communities in need.”
