Raisner Group refinances with Banco Popular; Dzbanek of Ariel Property Advisors assists

Brooklyn, NY The Raisner Group (formerly Proteus Capital Management, LLC), a real estate private equity firm, has completed the following:

  • The bulk refinancing of five properties in Bed-Stuy and Bushwick areas  for $6.158 million in a transaction with Banco Popular; arranged by Matt Dzbanek of Ariel Property Advisors (one loan pending closing). The properties are all free-market buildings and are a mix of walk up residential properties and a corner mixed-use building located at 987 Lafayette Ave., 712A Greene Ave., 496 Central Ave., 319 Winthrop St. and 451 Irving Ave.
  • The acquisition of 1222 Nostrand Ave. in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens in a transaction financed by Carver Federal Savings Bank.  This property is a mixed-use building with several apartments and a store.

These properties are located in desirable, brownstone-stock residential areas. Bushwick, Bed Stuy and Prospect Lefferts Gardens have been some of the fastest growing submarkets of New York City and the East Coast.
