Racanelli welcomes Ferrara and Rogowicz

Racanelli Construction Company, Inc., a leading construction management, general contractor and design/build resource for commercial, industrial, retail, medical, pre-engineered and multi-family housing projects, has appointed of Sabrina Ferrara as administrative assistant and Michele Rogowicz as administrative assistant/marketing coordinator. Ferrara brings to the role a strong administrative, organizational and computer skill set and 13 years of related experience. Ferrara holds a bachelor of science degree in Criminology from the State University of New York at Old Westbury. Prior to joining Racanelli, Ferrara served as an executive assistant at Practice Pay Solutions, where her responsibilities ranged from managing the daily calendar for the president and vice president and coordinating meetings, conventions, luncheons and travel arrangements for staff and clients; to human resource functions such as potential employee recruitment and screening, ACT database project implementation, office supply purchasing, business process documentation, and preparation of monthly expense reports. In addition to her role at Practice Pay Solutions, Ferrara served as rental agent at Somerset Woods Associates, Inc. and as an Executive Assistant with Century 21 Benjamin Real Estate. Ferrara recently authored a spiritual book which is now in the editing stages with her publisher. Rogowicz brings to the role diverse administrative, marketing and sales experience, interior design skills, as well as extensive computer skills including Quark Express, AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Design. Rogowicz's higher education includes completing two years of masters of architecture courses at Boston Architectural College, and a bachelor of arts as an Art History/Pre-Architecture major from the State University of New York at Binghamton. Prior to joining Racanelli Construction, Rogowicz served as an Administrative Assistant at Four Winds Tours and Travels where she was responsible for contacting travel providers for rates and availabilities, facilitating reservations, proposal writing, general administrative functions and computer technical support. In addition to her role at Four Winds Tours and Travel, Rogowicz's career includes positions as a sales associate with Posh on Tremont, an intern with Chianis & Anderson Architects, receptionist/office assistant with Cancos Tile-Interior Design where she assisted sales staff in closing sales and answering customers' design questions, Helped design for American Eagle Outfitters of the Aerie floor sets for a new store opening, and Sales Associate with Victoria's Secret. An active member of the community, Rogowicz supported Relay for Life during her studies at SUNY Binghamton and. As the organization's Publicity Chair in her senior year, she was able to drive the program's most success fundraising year. While at college, she also served as Yearbook Editor, Teacher's Assistant for a Fine Arts Class, and Maimonides Leader. While still in high school, she served as President of the Oceanside Chapter of the United Synagogue Youth.
