Racanelli serves as G.C. on Mahwah, N.J. New Hampton Inn & Suites

Racanelli Construction Company, Inc. is serving as the general contractor in the construction of a 111-room Hampton Inn & Suites. Racanelli was awarded the project by Oto Development, LLC (Spartanburg, S.C.) following a competitive bid process. When completed, the Hampton Inn & Suites will be a three-story, 69, 354-s/f structure featuring wood frame construction, pre-fabricated floor and roof trusses and an exterior finish insulation system (EFIS). The building will have a flat roof with EPDM rubber system. Its main entrance will be covered with porte cochere. Also incorporated into the building will be plywood floors with gypcrete topping. All rooms will be equipped with individual HVAC units that are controlled by a wireless system. The property will have an indoor swimming pool. The property will encompass an underground storm water retention system composed of thirteen 150-foot long rows of five foot-diameter pipe. Serving as project executive was Rich Racanelli. Steve Peregallo was the project manager. The projected completion date of Hampton Inn & Suites is May 2010.
