According to Advantage Group president and chief executive Joseph Willen, Nicholas Racanelli has joined Mortgage Advantage as vice president of business development.
Racanelli formerly was regional vice president of South Fork Funding Inc., a mortgage brokerage firm. Prior to joining South Fork, Racanelli was a senior loan originator at Racanelli/Spateri-GFI Mortgage Bankers Inc.
A 1991 graduate of Villanova University, where he received a bachelor of arts degree in Psychology, Racanelli entered the mortgage business in 2008 after establishing himself in his family's successful real estate development company. In addition to his active role in the family business, Racanelli has participated in the acquisition, operation, and sale of a number of various successful private businesses in the service sector.
"We are looking forward to adding Nick's expertise to our company and we welcome his strong business development skills," said Willen. "He is a highly skilled loan officer and business manager, and he now brings that experience and leadership to Mortgage Advantage."
