Racanelli Construction earns ABC Platinum Level for safety

Melville, NY Racanelli Construction Company, Inc., a leading construction management, general contractor and design/build resource for commercial, industrial, retail, medical, pre-engineered and multi-unit residential projects,  has been confirmed by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) at the Platinum Level in 2022 for safety. This is the second consecutive year for this achievement by Racanelli Construction, which recognizes the company as one which exhibits a continued commitment to jobsite safety and whose safety performance and programs are judged to be at the highest level by the ABC National Health and Safety Committee.

As a Platinum STEP member company, Racanelli Construction is eligible to apply for ABC’s National Safety Excellence Award.

Racanelli Construction’s company-wide safety initiatives are led by Douglas Winter, director of safety – OSHA trainer/BCSP-CHST. A highly credential safety professional, Winter’s role focuses on assuring the company’s compliance with all workplace safety regulations and specifically those  pertaining to the construction job site. The company emphasizes ongoing safety training for its employees with the goal of accident prevention by keeping them informed of potential hazards and OSHA regulations for the construction industry. The company’s safety initiatives are documented in a comprehensive, written safety plan designed outlining hazards and best practices for their mitigation.
