RAC NYSCAR holds 15th Annual President’s Dinner Banquet

Rochester, NY On November 19, the Rochester Area Chapter of the New York State Commercial Association of Realtors (RAC NYSCAR) held its 15th Annual 2015 President’s Dinner and Awards Banquet at The Inn on Broadway. There was a turnout of 110 members and guests. Richard LeFrois, president and CEO of LeFrois Builders & Developers was honored with the Allan D. Moore Lifetime Achievement Award for his exemplary achievements, personal commitment, dedication and performance in the commercial real estate industry in the Rochester community. Scott Burdett and Michael Palumbo, both from Flaum Management Company, Inc., were co-recipients of the Deal of the Year - Sale award. Michael Frame from CBRE-Rochester received the award for the Deal of the Year - Lease. Mercedes Brien from Mission Commercial Realty, LLC, was awarded the Commercial Realtor of the Year for having demonstrated excellence in the commercial real estate profession. Christopher Passero, Passero Realty Services, LLC, was awarded the Meritorious Service Award for his commitment to the organization for fostering new, exciting and varied member events. Two of RAC NYSCAR’s new incoming 2016 board members, Joe Rowley from Buckingham Properties and Joseph Rowley from Anchor Real Estate Advisors, LLC, were sworn in by Brian DiNardo, incoming 2016 president for the New York State Commercial Association of Realtors (NYSCAR). Mercedes Brien, incoming 2016 president of RAC NYSCAR was also sworn in by DiNardo. The remaining officers and directors will be sworn in at our 2016 Kick-Off Meeting at Midvale Country Club on January 21, 2016. Carly Rohlin from Mission Commercial Realty, LLC, Patrick Wahl from CBRE-Rochester and Christopher Passero, Passero Realty Services, LLC, were recognized as being education scholarship winners for the first ever Larry Glazer Memorial Scholarship for RAC NYSCAR Members to be awarded for Continuing Education in the Commercial Real Estate Field. Also, recognized was Dawn Aprile, Aprile Ventures, LLC, who is currently a candidate for the education scholarship but is still in the process of completing her courses. The Rochester Area Chapter of NYSCAR is a group of approximately 130 commercial real estate Broker and Affiliate members dedicated to promoting the interests of commercial real estate professionals in the Rochester Region. The jurisdiction of the Rochester Area Chapter is the geographic area of Monroe, Wayne, Ontario, Livingston, Steuben, Yates, Seneca, and Eastern Orleans (east of Route 98) counties.
