PWC hosts The BIG Show: Major Northeast region trade show

On Wednesday, October 17, PWC hosted The BIG Show, a major Northeast region trade show coupled with its first-ever Professional Recruitment Fair from 10 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the Digital Sandbox, 55 Broad St., a state-of-the-art high-tech destination in the heart of the financial district. Explains Trade Show committee chair andPWC board member Gwendolyn Colbert Kushner, "Once again, PWC is ahead of the curve and responding to the burgeoning needs of the industry." PWC president Lenore Janis said, "PWC's Trade Shows have always created a different sort of business exchange that focuses on B-to-B marketing. Now we are ready for the big time." Small businesses and W/MBE firms got a chance to hob-nob and mix-it-up with representatives and purchasing/procurement agents from the likes of Turner Construction, Tishman Construction, IBEX, Phoenix Constructors, DMJM Harris, STV, PANYNJ, BPCA, N.J. Transit, Weidlinger, ConEdison, NY Power Authority, NYCHA, NYC Dept. of Buildings, NYCSCA, NYC Health & Hospitals, NYSDOT, Wal-Mart, Hazen & Sawyer, Flack & Kurtz, ACB Architects...to name a few! Colbert Kushner said, "The Recruitment Fair attracted many professionals from a wide spectrum of the industry. Everyonefrom recent college graduates with A&E and CM degrees to seasoned professionals." Major companies offered employment opportunities for engineers, estimators, architects, schedulers, accountants, marketing specialists, commercial real estate professionals, construction & project managers.
